Join us for a conversation with Khalisa Rae, Ashley Lumpkin, CJ Suitt, and Soteria Shepperson about what it means to be Black and queer in the South on May 31st at 6:30pm. These award winning authors will share poems and pay omage to queer writers of color that have come before them. They will speak about their experience of being LGBTQ+ in the Triangle while also trying to create art, publish, and make a living from their craft. They welcome audience members and allies to join in the conversation. This series will extend into Pride Month with new authors and poets.
