The band started as a couple of friends exchanging lyrically driven, indie punk demos on the internet. Their lineup solidified in 2016 when they released their debut LP “Songs for Best Friends” on Anchorless Records. Produced by Pete Steinkopf of The Bouncing Souls and features guest vocals from Jared Hart (Mercy Union) Anika Pyle (Chumped, Sheena Anika Agusta) Roger Harvey, Will Romeo, and more.

Orphan Riot is an explosive young punk band from Burlington, NC that blends the energy of classic punk, the recklessness of early American alternative, and spirit of the Bay Area Gilman Street Project with the chaos of today’s world to form a noisy portrait of modern life. At a time when there are more teenage social media celebrities than garage bands, Orphan Riot is here to prove that Rock n Roll still matters.
