Eno Arts Mill gallery
Eno Arts Mill Gallery by Donn Young

The Eno Arts Mill is operated by the Orange County Arts Commission (OCAC), a unit of Orange County Government, and the Orange County Arts Alliance (OCAA), the 501(c)3 nonprofit partner arm of the OCAC. The purpose of the Gallery is to serve the Orange County arts community by providing one-month featured exhibits for current Eno Arts Mill (EAM) studio Groups, local arts groups, and open-call group exhibits, as well as event and meeting space for local arts groups. We also have a 14-person conference room available as meeting space for community groups.

GALLERY USE GUIDELINES

Groups are invited to host events and gatherings in the Eno Arts Mill Gallery, a 1,000sf space featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood floors, and beautiful artwork.

The OCAC/OCAA is able to offer the following services to groups holding events in the Gallery:

  • A staff representative will be onsite for the duration of the event, including time for set-up and breakdown
  • Use of EAM 6’ foldable tables (approximately 20 available) and chairs (approximately 40 available). Quantity available may change depending on other events happening simultaneously, such as classes.
  • Use of EAM equipment such as a projector and screen, and a PA sound system. Staff members are not responsible for tech support and troubleshooting.
  • If appropriate, sharing of marketing materials through the OCAC social media channels and enews.

By holding an event in the Gallery, groups are responsible for the following:

  • All set-up and breakdown of event tables and chairs.
  • Providing of table linens/coverings.
  • Marketing of the event, if open to the public. This includes the creation of graphics, placing ads, and sharing of information with local media and on social media. The OCAC can help share materials but cannot create them or run ads. A marketing guide can be provided if needed.
  • Food and beverage arrangements, if needed. While food and beverage are allowed in the Gallery, the event host assumes liability in the event that artwork is damaged.
  • Removal of all trash, recycling, and supplies from the gallery at the end of the event. Trash must be placed in the garbage bin in the parking lot; recycling is to be place in the recycling bin in the parking lot.

Groups agree to the following:

  • Artwork is only to be moved by OCAC staff.
  • Ceiling lights are set based on the exhibit in the Gallery that month and cannot be changed.
  • Groups will not hang, tape, or affix anything to gallery walls or floors
  • The Eno Arts Mill is a multipurpose space with a classroom and 15 artist studios. There maybe be other events happening at the same time such as classes.
