ORANGE COUNTY LOCALFEST

In its inaugural year, Orange County LocalFest will offer a diverse, family-friendly festival that celebrates and promotes local food, local music, the local economy, and the county’s heritage and culture. LocalFest is sponsored by Orange County Government and is free to attend. Live music, cooking demonstrations, local artists and crafters, and educational and kids’ activities will highlight the daylong event.
The artist exhibit area of LocalFest will be coordinated by the Orange County Arts Commission and will be a juried showcase of high-quality fine art and crafts. All artists must submit an online application with images to be considered. If accepted, a $50 booth fee will be required. Artists residing in Orange County and members of the Orange County Artists Guild will be given preference, but artists within a 50-mile radius of Orange County are encouraged to apply. Preference will also be given to artists able and willing to demonstrate their craft on-site
While artist booth fees will benefit the OCAC, profits generated by the event will support the Breeze Farm Incubator. This farm provides a place for aspiring farmers who don’t have access to the land or equipment required to farm and is creating new local farm businesses.
