Vitamin O: Max Stein-Seroussi

Max Stein-Seroussi, 17, was adopted at birth into a white, Jewish, vegetarian, home-schooling family. Max’s awareness that his situation is unique is merely an academic one.  “It does not feel different to me at all – it is just my life.” Max’s self- description? “I am a social person.” Max enjoys the small town feeling of Orange County. “You can exercise to get places – you don’t always have to take a car.” Max plays basketball in a homeschool league. Food is another interest of his. His hope for Orange County 100 years from now? “The thing I hope most is that Elmo’s Diner is still around.”
