Voices Presents “Hands of Love”

Voices – The Chapel Hill Chorus – combines with the Triangle String Quartet in performing our spring concert “Hands of Love.” Featured works include Julian Gunkel’s “Lux Aeterna,” Dieterich Buxtehude’s “Ad manus” (from the cantata Membra Jesu Nostri), Caroline Shaw’s “To the Hands,” and Jake Runested’s “The Hope of Loving.” Our chamber ensemble Cantari will perform a set of a cappella pieces, including Jenni Brandon’s “Giver of the Stars,” and Ed Frazier Davis’ “Yearning to Breathe Free.” See www.voiceschapelhill.org for more information.
Voices is donating 5% of concert proceeds to the Refugee Support Center, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in Carrboro,NC.
