Illuminating Creativity: Gilded Vellum Print Demonstration

Local photographer Lis Tyroler will be conducting a hands-on demonstration of the process she uses to apply Gold Leaf to prints on Vellum. Lis uses this technique as an opportunity for tactile, creativity-inspiring play in a digital world. Unpredictable and finicky, different applications of the adhesive and leaf will yield wildly different results! Lis will demonstrate each step of the process, as well as providing a brief opportunity for students to experiment with the materials themselves.
