Braided Bodies and Contorted Consciousness, a Cedar Ridge HS International Baccalaureate Art Show with Adeline Cummings and Cadence Zaccardi

The first of three student group shows, each featuring work from 2 senior Cedar Ridge High School International Baccalaureate Art students.

From Adeline Cummings: In a variety of materials such as acrylic, mixed media, oil and pastels, I create Expressionist and Surrealist artworks to express the heavy emotions people feel. I paint self expression in order to portray my thoughts visually.

From Cadence Zaccardi: My artwork explores how self perception and the subconscious distorts one’s impression of the physical body. I employ artistic movements like Mannerism and Surrealism that elongate and abstract biomorphic forms to convey this idea.
