The 23rd Annual Art in the Garden Sculpture Invitational opens this Saturday, May 6, at the home of Tinka Jordy and Mark Donley. Since 1994 Tinka and Mark, owners of the Eno Gallery in Hillsborough, have opened their garden as a venue for regional and national sculptors.
The Jordy-Donley home is located at 1902 Borland Rd Hillsborough, NC 27278 and opens this Saturday, May 6, from 10am to 6pm. It continues Sunday from 12-5pm and next Saturday, May 13, from 10am to 6pm. The event is free and open to the public.
The event is presented by Garden Art Gallery, a juried art exhibition space created to provide an outdoor venue for regional sculptors to display their work. All participating artists share in the expense of the event, and in return, are able to keep 100% of the proceeds of the sales of their work.
