SUMMARY:North Carolina Youth Tap Ensemble Presents: With Flying Colors
DESCRIPTION:April 29th-30th\nThe Chapel Hill based North Carolina Youth Tap Ensemble is proud to present: With Flying Colors! This exhilarating show features tap dancers\, ages 8-18\, from all over North Carolina. Founded in 1982 by Gene Medler\, NCYTE is now under the artistic direction of Nicholas Van Young. Over the past 40 years\, the ensemble has traveled throughout the country\, as well as ventured to destinations such as Brazil\, China\, and Mexico. Don’t let the word “youth” fool you! This pre-professional company of dancers commands the stage with choreography from some of the best tap dancers of all time. Work by Brenda Bufalino\, Michelle Dorrance\, The Condos Brothers\, and more will be presented alongside a live jazz trio and vocalist. NCYTE will be joined by the incomparable Anthony Morigerato. Join us for a celebration of percussive dance April 29 at 7:30pm and April 30 at 3:00pm at the Carolina Theatre in Durham. \n\n\n	Related
