DESCRIPTION:Harmony is king in Motel Radio. The four piece\, dual front man indie band from New Orleans builds silky\, melodic guitar waves for their stacked vocals to surf across. Breezy yet intentional\, pop-minded yet psychedelic; their tunes are as likely to stick with young songwriters as they are veteran deadheads.\nIn New Orleans\, music wafts through the windows night and day. From the sidesticking second lines to the croons of the troubadours on Royal Street\, Motel Radio draws inspiration from the sounds of their home city while adding their own indie flair to the pot. The group spent the past year writing and recording their debut full-length Siesta Del Sol with producer\, engineer\, and neighbor Eric Heigle. They split time between Heigle’s studio (Wix Mix Productions) and their own home studio a block away to produce the dynamic 10 song LP\, which will release in July of 2019. The record will be accompanied by a five week summer tour supporting Austin-based indie band Summer Salt.\nThe album title “Siesta Del Sol ” was derived from a jukebox song the band heard at a bar in Marfa\, TX during their first tour of the west coast. It was a nostalgic and defining moment for the group: four musicians who had started as college roommates simultaneously felt a cosmic emotion and awareness of what they’d been building together. They realized they were chasing something bigger than themselves as they continued their journey west. DESCRIPTION:Memory looms large on Horse Jumper of Love’s hypnotic sophomore album\, ‘So Divine\,’ but it remains\nelusive. Throughout the record\, tiny snapshots from the past float to the surface\, baring themselves for\nbrief moments before diving back into the ether. Like abstract collages\, the Boston-based three-piece’s\nsongs jumble richly detailed scenes and vivid imagery\, papering over one moment with the next until each\nstring of seemingly unrelated thoughts coalesces into a breathtaking work of art\, one that reveals deep\ntruths about ourselves and our psyches. \n“A lot of these songs are about making small things into huge deals\,” says guitarist/singer Dimitri\nGiannopoulos. “They all start with these very specific little memories that\, for some reason or another\,\nhave stuck in my mind. Memories morph and change over time\, though\, and they become freighted with\nall these different meanings. We’re constantly adding to them.” \nThe same could be said of Horse Jumper of Love’s music. Praised by Stereogum as a “delightfully\ndistorted mess of energy\,” the band’s sound is absorbing and urgently hypnotic\, with songs that develop\nat a glacial pace\, progressing forward with almost imperceptible momentum to carve deep canyons and\nvalleys through walls of solid rock. Giannopoulos officially launched the group with bassist John Margaris\nand drummer Jamie Vadala-Doran in 2013\, taking their moniker from a Latin phrase that had gotten more\nthan a little lost in translation. The band would spend the next three years refining their studio craft and\nlive show\, garnering a devoted following playing DIY gigs around New England as they climbed their way\ninto what Pitchfork described as “the top tier of the Boston house show scene.” In 2016\, they released\ntheir self-titled debut to rave reviews\, with NPR praising the band’s “slow\, syrupy rock songs” as\n“cautiously measured and patiently curious” and Audiotree hailing the “soft spoken\, contemplative trio” for\ntheir “unique sonic palette and precise compositions.” In 2017\, the group released a vinyl and digital re-\nissue of the album along with a limited edition demo anthology. \n‘So Divine’ will mark the band’s first release for Run For Cover Records. \n\n\n	Related
