DESCRIPTION:Staged: New Play Readings are new plays-in-progress on the way to becoming production ready.  OdysseyStage does multiple play readings a year as part of our mission to help playwrights continue to hone their craft and improve their work.  This staged reading features “Shinsei (rebirth) by Judy M. Dove.  It is the story of a Japanese woman on her deathbed who is visited by ghosts from both her American and Japanese life. We see each ghost try to complete unfinished business so that they can all cross over.\nWARNING: This play deals with death\, dying\, sexual assault\, war\, and racism.\nImmediately following the play we will hear from a panel of theatre professionals who will give the author targeted feedback.
