SUMMARY:An Evening in December with Voices Chapel Hill
DESCRIPTION:Voices’ December concert\, Evening in December\, features our full company performing Sarah Quartel’s A Winter Day\, featuring texts by Sara Teasdale\, Lucy Maud Montgomery\, and Melville Cane; and “Stars” by Joseph Martin. The second half of our concert moves into the holiday spirit with our chamber ensemble\, Cantari\, presenting a set of a cappella pieces featuring the tight harmony of the vocal groups First Call and Take 6. The full chorus returns with a bit of nostalgia singing a set of carols by Alfred Burt\, concluding with Stephen Chatman’s multi-movement work Christmas Joy. Complete with a fun audience singalong\, there’s something for everyone as we gather for a winter Evening in December. \n\n\n	Related
