We’re thrilled to bring back this FREE monthly program specifically for children with different needs\, due to a diagnosis of autism spectrum\, sensory processing differences\, Down Syndrome and other developmental disabilities. Siblings and other family members are encouraged to attend. \nSensory-Friendly Nights offer the chance to explore the Museum without the noise\, crowds\, and stimulation of the typical museum visit. SUMMARY:Kidzu Children's Museum Fall Benefit
DESCRIPTION:The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the landscape of our lives. Kidzu was able to pivot quickly\, adapt programming to a virtual world\, and reopen in a gradual and safe manner. The pandemic is far from over\, though\, and the museum is still feeling the effects. In order to continue the important work\, support is needed.  \nThis outdoor event will offer space for safe socializing and gourmet foods from Bella Bean Organics\, La Farm Bakery\, and the Food Fairy.  There will be a silent auction\, and interactive presentations about Kidzu’s mission\, exhibits\, and programs. An open bar will offer wine\, featured cocktails (TOPO Distillery)\, and craft beer (Wicked Weed Brewery). There will also be live music from violinist Angela Scalise. \nTickets are now available. All proceeds\, from sponsorships to ticket sales\, support daily operations in spaces like The Makery\, The Garden\, The Nest\, and support innovative virtual programming. DESCRIPTION:Bring the whole family and join us at our annual Tuck In the Garden event! \nJoin Kidzu for the last garden party of the season! Help us “tuck in the garden” for the winter by spreading mulch and feeding the plants with some compost tea\, using compost that is generously donated by Compost Now. You can enjoy your own drink of hot cocoa\, make nature crafts\, and create a lantern to light up dark winter nights! \nKids will receive a passport to keep track of completed activities\, complete with a coupon for Alfredo’s Pizza Villa next door! \nPacked with fun-filled activities for all ages\, our garden parties are completely FREE to attend.
