James E Williams is presenting a program on Lisbon Payne Berry, who was born enslaved in Orange County in 1850 and later went on to become Orange County’s first Black lawyer. He will be sharing his story on Saturday, June 1 at the Orange County Public Library in Hillsborough 1:30 to 2:30.
