Last Friday Art Walk Events at Margaret Lane Gallery

Please join us at the Gallery as we celebrate the Town of Hillsborough’s Last Friday Art Walk with art, music and poetry:

Art:
• Reception for Bluegrass, featuring bluegrass-themed art from 15 local artists. Show opens April 28 and runs through May 23.
• Reception for Transformation: The Renewing of My Mind, a solo show by Debi L. Drew. Show runs through May 9.
• Artwork from over 30 local artists – including a great collection of local landscape paintings, stained glass, and much more!
• Conversations with local artists – we expect a number of artists with work in the gallery will be coming through, ready to share their work and discuss inspiration and process

Music:
• The Carolina Cutups, a local bluegrass band, will be playing on our front lawn, in keeping with the Bluegrass theme of our opening show

Poetry:
• Dasan Ahanu and colleagues will be performing original poetry on our front lawn, courtesy of the Hillsborough Arts Council.

We will be serving light (prepackaged) snacks, and also expect Sh8kes’ hot dog stand will be in the library parking lot.

Please note: we require that masks are worn both inside the Gallery and on our lawn. Please continue to follow safe practices so we can continue to have fun!
