Downtown Hillsborough’s Last Friday Art Walk is Friday August 26 from 6 to 9 pm – and we have a full slate of activities at Margaret Lane Gallery!
Art:
– Opening reception for Peace, Personal Perspectives, sharing visions of peace from 20 local artists, in celebration of International Peace Day
– Work from over 35 local artists
Music:
– Sonya Badigan and Aaron Tacke (fiddle and banjo, respectively) perform curated deep cuts in the old-time fiddle-banjo tradition with a bluegrass upgrade (6:30-8 pm)
Spoken Word:
– Local poets share peace-themed poetry
Community:
– Free art activity table
– Light refreshments
