Last Friday Art Walk Events at Margaret Lane Gallery

Festivities all through Hillsborough’s downtown for the November Last Friday Art Walk!

At Margaret Lane Gallery, we will have

• Opening reception for All I Really Want … a group show in which 13 local artists share their wishes for this holiday season … from snow and prosperity, to world peace and the knowledge there is always light to be found, even in the darkest of times. Come see the work, meet the artists, and share your own wishes for yourself and the world.

• Work from more than 35 local artists – including a wide selection of giftable art.

• Live music … Tax Free String Band … in the front yard from 6 to 8 pm. Toe-tapping old time string band music. Lively traditional dance tunes and songs from Appalachia and the Piedmont.

• The Roaming Poets with Jen Jus’ Write, courtesy of the Hillsborough Arts Council, 8:15-8:45 pm.

• Free creation station, including holiday-themed supplies.

• Light refreshments, good conversation, inspiration, and fun!
